پایگاه هواداران منچستر یونایتد – قرار است که در مجموعه پست هایی تحت عنوان “سرودها و یونایتد“، سروده ها و موسیقی های هواداران منچستر یونایتد همراه با متن و احتمالا تاریخچه آن، گردآوری شده و در اختیار شما هواداران عزیز قرار گیرد. به عنوان اولین پست این مجموعه سرود معروف “Glory, Glory, Man United” در اختیار شما قرار می گیرد.

“Glory, Glory” یکی از سرودهای معروف فوتبالی در اتحادیه فوتبال انگلستان است. این سرود (Glory, Glory) با استفاده از اهنگ ترانه ی جنگ داخلی امریکا با نام “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” با ترجیع بند “Glory, Glory, Hallelujah” تنظیم شده و به جای “Hallelujah” نام تیم قرار می گیرد. چندین باشگاه از جمله منچستر یونایتد، تاتنهام، لیدزیونایتد و … سرود رسمی خود را “Glory, Glory” انتخاب کرده اند.

“Glory, Glory, Man United” سرودیست که پیش از فینال جام حذفی ۱۹۸۳ سروده شد. از ابتدای دهه ۸۰ طرفداران یونایتد آن را می خوانند و برخی از طرفداران رقبا آن را به نحوی مورد استهزاء قرار می دهند.

در سال ۲۰۰۷، ورژن طولانی تری از آن شبیه به “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” سروده و به عنوان ترانه ی رسمی اولدترافورد انتخاب شد.
